Description

Sublime Text has an easy-to-learn API and plugin system. Writing your own plugin is a great way to further optimize and customize your text editor workflow, and learn some basic Python along the way. In this video, Rose Kaplan-Bomberg walks through the Sublime Text plugin creation process, starting with ST's handy New Plugin tool, and using her own plugin, Invisible Tabs/Spaces Switcher (http://git.io/tabs-spaces), as an example. By the end, you'll be familiar with some basic facets of the ST API, better understand the plugin lifecycle, and even know how to submit your plugin to Package Control, ST's package manager.
